Hi, I’m Chris. I hit FIRE in 2020 at age 40 but I should have been there a decade sooner. I wasted ten years learning the hard way because I was chasing the wrong things and ignoring the basics.

I built this site so you don't have to burn a decade like I did. It's the rock-solid foundation I wish I'd started with—the path to financial independence that I found only after taking every wrong turn possible.

• The Backstory: I originally built this for my niece, but these basics are universal. I'm putting it all out there because everyone deserves a clear shot at independence without the gatekeeping.
• Purely Content: This site is 100% free. You won’t find ads, sponsors, Patreon links, "Buy Me a Coffee" buttons, merch stores, or affiliate links. I have absolutely nothing to sell you.
